Becky will sometimes post server jobs on Facebook or simply walk in and fill out an application she is very friendly and fun to work for
The service was friendly with a very down home atmosphere, though it was slow. I was upset at first about the speed of the service until I realized that the 2 servers were also the cooks. That actually impressed me when I found out that detail. The small family-owned atmosphere is great. The food was very good and worth the cost. We only had breakfast food, so I cannot comment on lunch or dinner.
Food was good, and fresh, did not take long to get our food.
Great food and service!
Can't say enough about this place! The service is wonderful..... quick with a friendly smile! The food... well, it was so good that we ended up ordering two meals each just to try more on the menu! We are DEFINITELY looking forward to coming again!
The burgers are so so so good. The pancakes are delicious and the fries are better then any fast food fries. The food here is exquisite and extremely delicious. Would recommend to anyone
Great place to eat.
Great food, great atmosphere, but what really stood out was the friendly and accommodating service staff. Thanks for making us feel welcomed!
Very friendly people , good food , loved the place
Good food, pleasant atmosphere, nice people.
The food was delicious and the coconut pie awesome the crust thin and flakey. The staff were very pleasant.
My friend and I came here for the first time yesterday. What a great experience. Friendly service, very clean and the food was excellent. We both had the breaded tenderloin along with homemade pie and ice cream for dessert. Yum!!!
Great food, friendly service! Glad to see them back open and maintaining precautions during these difficult times.
My family loves this place. We've brought my daughter here since she was born and she loves to get coloring books and toys from the kids table. Amazing wait staff and Becky herself is usually around or in the kitchen making delicious new items for the daily special board. Cozy country diner feel, diverse menu options, good prices. Try them out!
Great staff always friendly. And always and I mean always great food
Must visit. One of our family favorite spots. Best bacon around. It it cooked perfectly. Great burgers and excellent fries. This locally owned and operated restaurant even serves gourmet burgers and boy are they good! This is a favorite spot for locals to eat too. They clean often and keep everything clean - even before Covid. Covid hours are 5:30 am to 2 pm. Very reasonably priced. This place is worth the drive.
Great food, friendly service, reasonable prices. Will definitely be back♥️
Great selection of food. Always tasty. Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is comfy.
Great food and friendly service. Breakfast is awesome. Never had a bad meal here. Breakfast and lunch hours only.
Wonderful eggs Benedict. Homemade breakfast potatoes were too peppery. Very relaxed atmosphere. I'll be going back.
Small & cute. Waitress was sweet. Food was AMAZING!!!!
Breakfast was great... Service as well and they were very funny too. Had a great time.. pie to go was excellent .. Only bad thing is the Blackberry pie was just to hot to cut so could not take a couple slices with me for the road. Keep it up you and your staff are simply all winners to me....
I had a fantastic veggie omelette with great hash browns, rye toast, and a side of perfect bacon. The coffee was perfect too. It made me a happy mule! Thanks, Becky and to your friendly staff.
Really good tenderloin sandwich and loved the homemade ice cream with my peach pie.
Absolutely horrible. Got grilled cheese was like eating green mold almost threw up. Fried potatoes were like boiled soggy. Just worst experience ever STAY AWAY
Good food, good times, good staff. Perfect.
Clean, good food. Good variety. Friendly staff
Cozy little restaurant. Homeade cooking. Great food. Highly recommend if you want to try something different.
Heather was delightful. Food is strange but absolutely delish.. Everything we had breakfast and the fried chicken. Awesome
Fun updated decor with warm friendly staff, add good food & reasonable prices. That's Beck'y Happy Mule Cafe!
Truly enjoyed! This is a diamond in a world of pea gravel. All the locals made an appearance for late breakfast or early lunch or just homemade pie. What we came for we got. Pie crust that can be rated "perfect" after a breakfast special cooked to a "T"! Sausage gravy as smooth as fine silk. Comfortable seating and easy parking. Spotlessly clean. Great atmosphere and not a blaring TV in the place. Just good company, good comfort food, fairly priced and the laughter of people enjoying it all. Not over packed with tables that would make it difficult for walkers and wheelchairs. Easy handicap entrance without stoops and stairs. Decorated to suit it's name but done with tasteful whimsy! Lots of light. Coming in makes it bright and cheery. I'm telling you not to miss this place that is a hot spot on my regular list. Closes at 3 so don't get a late start. Opens at 5:30am. Closed on Mondays. DON'T MISS THIS DIAMOND IN ANDERSON INDIANA.
Good grub, but can be slow service due to understaffing.
Overall, the food was pretty good. Had a Cuban that was decent, much better after an employee recommend jalapeños on it. It was empty inside when I went in, but a few others trickled in after. A good place for breakfast and lunch.
Lots of food and it was great.
Great little neighborhood place really congenial people always got a smile
Great food, and a good variety to pick from. All homemade. Definitely worth a visit.
Too good to share. Keeping this hidden, secret gem all to myself. Really good food and service in a clean and inviting space, tucked off the beaten path.
The other reviews hold true. Friendly people, and great food. My B's & G's were really good. The place is clean, and pleasant. My only complaint would be how quiet it was, some music would have been nice. Definitely worth it!
A great, peaceful place to get breakfast or lunch. They open pretty early for all you early birds. If you are a vegetarian they do have veggie omelettes, and pancakes, french toast, waffles, etc. Service was very fast. There are lots of cool posters and pictures to look at while you wait for your food. It was not very on the Friday morning I went. Coffee was hot food, was tasty. Very cute diner!
Stopped here for breakfast. Food was mediocre at best. Biscuits and gravy came out luke warm if not cold. Absolutely horrible service. No refills, no do you need anything, no how is everything. Will not be going back.
The food is delicious and extremely reasonable price wise. The service is great and the restaurant has a quirky atmosphere. Overall the food keeps me coming back, they have special items on the menu that appear periodically that are just unbelievablely good.
Poor service. Waitress didn’t give us straws, napkins, or silverware. She spilled drinks and food all over. Food was mediocre at best. Coffee tasted like water.
Best place around town to eat! Fantastic tenderloins and the most amazing homemade pies! You have to check out this hidden gem! Not to mention, the servers Brenda, Jackie, Heather, and Hillary give EXCEPTIONAL customer service.
Great food and service with good lunch specials. Fresh made pie but $3.99 slice. Decent restroom.
Delicious food, could not have enjoyed it more.
We frequent here often it's fabulous. Service is great Becky does a very good job
Friendly good food it's the kind of place they know your name.
Great ... sweet atmosphere and delicious food!
Best breakfast anywhere! Super casual just find a seat and eat. Our family has visited this restaurant many times now without a single disappointment. Ample serving sizes and delicious, fresh food are the norm. My recommendation would be the country fried steak. It is made from scratch. Just a short wait for hand cut freshly tenderized steak, battered and fried to perfection
Hidden gem. Mom and pop diner. Small, intimated, friendly. Menu had full menu of all things breakfast. I had 2 eggs, crispy bacon and French toast and several cups of delicious coffee. Husband had sausage, peppers and onion omlet, sliced potatoes, toast. Service was fast, friendly, neighborly. The bathroom was brand new and beautiful. Nice and much appreciated plus. Conveniently just off I 69. Popular with the locals on a late Sunday morning.
Small and homey. Interesting decor.
